Stretching only thirteen miles, the Daily Section or sometimes called Fisher Towers Section of the Colorado River can be reached easily from Moab, Utah,which is on US Highway 191 near Interstate 70. Located 23 miles upriver from Moab, this stretch of river from Hittle Bottom to Take Out Beach provides a compact rafting experience with six, class two or three rapids. The spectacular view of Fisher Towers first greets the rafter. These towering monoliths reach into the clear blue sky, inviting hikers to accept the challenge. The largest of these towers is the 900 ft high Titan. A keen observer may also spot mule deer, golden eagles and river otter along the river bank, yet soon the sound of white water rapids fills the air, as you approach Onion Creek. White sandy beaches and cottonwood trees line the river banks as each rapid provides thrills and challenges.
