It comes as no surprise that Moab, Utah has a thriving art community—the region's scenic beauty provides boundless inspiration for artists of all mediums. Every spring and summer, the Moab Art Walk showcases local, regional, and national artwork through a consortium of galleries and museums, all within walking distance of each other.

Stroll Moab's galleries, shops, and cafes and view fine locally created, Moab art. The Moab Art Walk includes featured artists and receptions. Most exhibits run for a month or more so feel free to stop in anytime at participating locations!

Overview: Held on the second Saturday of March, April, May June, September, October and November, the Art Walk is a great event to acquire art with Southwestern motifs. Art Walk exhibits last for about one month, so there is always variety throughout the spring and summer seasons.

Details: Art mediums include traditional painting, sculpture, large format landscape photography, decorated musical instruments, jewelry, mixed media, and woven articles. Receptions given by the galleries and museums offer an opportunity for residents and visitors to meet and discuss artistic pieces with the artists themselves. In additional to the permanent works on display, musical performances are also part of the creative atmosphere of Moab Art Walk.
Participants include the Petra Gallery, Overlook Gallery, Moonflower Market, Framed Image, Tom Gill Gallery, Moab Arts and Recreation Center, Cat's Lair, Museum of Moab, The Western Image, and Earth Spirit. Most destinations are centrally located off Center Street in Moab.
