Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is the area encompassing the 186-mile long Lake Powell. Established in 1972, this scenic, desert area provides a dramatic example of one of nature's most inspiring settings, combined with a larger than life ambitious human project – the Glen Canyon Dam. Day Pass: $25/car
Admits one single, private, non-commercial vehicle and all its passengers for up to 7 days.

Day Motorcycle Pass: $20/motorcycle
Admits one motorcycle and its passengers. 

Day Individual Pass: $12/person
Admits one individual when entering on foot, or bicycle. 

Glen Canyon NRA Annual Pass: $50
Allows unlimited entry to Glen Canyon for 12 months from date of purchase.

America the Beautiful-National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass: $80
Provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee. Pass is valid for one year from date of purchase.

America the Beautiful-National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Pass-Senior Pass: $10
A lifetime pass for U.S. citizens or permanent residents age 62 and over. Proof of age and residency is required. Pass must be obtained in person.

America the Beautiful-National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Access Pass: FREE
A lifetime pass issued to U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a permanent disability. Pass must be obtained in person.

America the Beautiful- National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Volunteer Pass: FREE
This pass is for volunteers acquiring 500 service hours on a cumulative basis. Pass is valid for one year from date of award.

All National Park Passes, Golden Eagle, Golden Eagle Hologram, Golden Access and Golden Age Passports will continue to be honored according to the provisions of the pass.

Boating

  • $50 - annual vessel permit valid from Jan 1- Dec 31 for each motorized vessel 
  • $30 - valid 1-7 days for first motorized vessel 
  • $30 - valid 1-7 days for each additional motorized vessel

Note: Entrance fees do not include ferry charges.
