Moab and its surrounding desert landscape is a perpetual Kodak moment. Delicate Arch
Delicate Arch, one of erosion's greatest works of art, rates as one of Moab's most popular photography attractions. Located in Arches National Park at the end of an elevated 1.5 mile trail over long stretches of slickrock, it attracts photographers from all over the world. Sunset turns the arch golden, making it prime time for pictures. Arrive early, however, to stake out a good shooting location. Sunset attracts hordes of photographers on a daily basis.
Mesa Arch
Mesa Arch is another five-star attraction for photos. Especially at sunrise. Located in Canyonlands National Park's Island in the Sky district, it can be easily accessed by a half-mile long trail. Teetering atop an east-facing cliff, its arch frames a spectacular desert landscape with the La Sal Mountains in the background. The sun paints the arch pumpkin-orange and brick-red as it ascends the eastern horizon making it superb for wall-worthy photography.
