If you spend a few days in the backcountry around Moab, Utah and are in need of a shower or want to clean a few clothes, you will be able to find both types of facilities in Moab. For a small fee, several local privately owned campgrounds allow visitors to use their shower facilities. These same campgrounds may have public laundry rooms or you can use a laundromat in town.
Numerous businesses in Moab allow visitors to use their shower facilities. For a small fee ranging from $3.00 to $5.00, backpackers, hikers, and even mountain bikers can treat themselves to the convenience and rejuvenating benefits of a hot shower. In addition to the various privately owned campgrounds in the area, some locally owned businesses including the local hostel, a couple of bike shops and the swim center are sources for showers. You can find several coin-operated laundromats in town and at the various campgrounds.
