Moab is a great place to visit – so close to so many wonderful wilderness destinations. Get your packing list together so you know exactly what to bring with you for a great vacation.
For the wintertime, you need to pack for whatever activity you want to engage in, but be sure to include:
- T-shirts to wear under your outer shirt
- Long underwear (silk preferable)
- Waterproof shoes or boots
- Warm hat
- Warm winter jacket (waterproof if skiing)
- Warm socks
- Sweaters
- Gloves
- Scarf
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
In the summer, your packing list should include the following:
- Bathing suit
- A long-sleeved shirt or light jacket for colder evenings
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Rain jacket
Another packing tip is to put your socks into your shoes to save space. Also you can take the heavier items, like shoes, etc. and place them along the spine of the suitcase to balance the weight.
