Overview: Start your holidays off right with a visit to Moab, Utah during the Christmas season. The town starts the celebration right every December 1 with an annual tree lighting ceremony, that is accompanied by Moab's Valley Voices choir, in front of the county courthouse. This is followed by the famous Electric Light Parade the following evening. As the name states, a majority of the floats are filled with bright electric lights alongside other Christmas favorites like larger than life Frostys and Santa's.
When: Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at 6pm.

Details: Surprisingly, it is warm during the holidays in Moab, Utah and often times only a light jacket is required from December through January. In fact, it rarely snows here but winter activities, such as sledding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling, are just around the corner. There is no where quite like Moab during these months. Where else can you go and get such a fantastic mix of seasonal activities in such a unique winter wonderland?
