Overview: The Skinny Tire Festival, which takes place in March each year, is the first road cycling event of the season and one of the largest at that. Over a period of four days, participants can be found cycling around many the phenomenal areas such as Arches National Park, the Colorado River, Dead Horse Point and the La Sal Mountains.
When: March 10th-13th, 2018
Where: Arches National Park, the Colorado River, Dead Horse Point and the La Sal Mountains
Fees: Entry Fees vary
Details: Weather in Utah this time of year is often unpredictable at best especially in the canyns so riders are encouraged to be prepared for anything with raingear and extra warm clothing. The bike roads are full of bike mechanics as well as first aid in case of emergency and snack stations for parched riders.
These events also support a good cause and are linked up with the Lance Armstrong foundation, encouraging all participants to LIVESTRONG with breath-taking scenery as a motivational tool.
