Rules & Regulations

Camping
Camping is allowed in the Devil’s Garden Campground only. Campfires are allowed at camp sites, but wood gathering is not permitted.

Hking
A number of hiking trails meander through the park. Stick to the trails and follow leave no trace guidelines. 

Pets
Pets must be on a leash at all times and are only allowed in the campsites and on the roads in the park-never on the hiking trails.

Biking
Bikes are permitted on marked roads only.

Permits
Permits are required for backcountry backpacking and overnight hiking.  These permits can not be reserved in advanced, so call the visitors information center for more details before planning your trip.

Parking
Parking is permitted in designated parking areas only-no overflow or shoulder parking is allowed.

Trash
It is your responsibility to carry out your own trash.

ATV
ATV’s are not allowed in the park.

Climbing
Climbing is prohibited on any named formation in the park.

Wildlife/Plantlife
Do not feed or remove wildlife or plants from the park.
